  • Whistleblower is a term given to a person who divulges information to the general public about systematic or widespread wrongdoing that they have access to via their employment or position.

Whistles are used in sports, parades, and music, creating a high-pitched sound that carries over a crowd.

On April 17, 2019, school teachers in Warsaw blew into whistles. Alongside their strike, they marched on the streets to improve and depolitise the school system and to get better salaries. The teachers' strike 2019 was the longest in Polish history, lasting 21 days.

They did not get a pay rise or reforms.
